Welcome to the Ampush June Insights newsletter! Facebook continues to enhance its advertiser tools including the ability to target based on how recently a user completed an activity, as well as in-app actions. Ampush released our new animated explainer video, published a white paper with tips for generating more revenue in News Feed, co-hosted a webinar about achieving performance with Facebook Ads, and shared insights about driving mobile app installs. Co-Founder and CEO Jesse Pujji spoke at the RampUp! Live Ramp Summit on May 30 and June 5 at the AllFacebook Marketing Conference, where Ampush was a sponsor, along with Co-Founder Nick Shah.

Unpublished Page Posts: The Undisputed King for Off-Site Conversions [Blog Post]

When it comes to driving users off-site for conversion (where conversion is measured by form filling), we have found that Unpublished Page Posts are king. Unpublished Page Posts are simply Page Posts that do not show up on a brand’s Page. This allows the advertiser to create Posts that can be promoted to users without cluttering the News Feed.

Build Irresistible Desktop and Mobile App Install Ads [Blog Post]

Here we take a closer look at best practices for creating interesting, click-worthy ads that generate installs. Staying relevant to an audience is key, and using engaging images with custom text are ways to increase conversions. Testing different creative is also a great way to find the most effective ads. Refresh content every few weeks, and look at the conversion results to find out which text and image combinations are working best.

Today Facebook announced the results of its "Era of News Feed" competition designed to recognize technological innovation among some of its closest partners. Ampush was recognized with distinction as the Grand Prize Winner for Project YOGA, a platform that enables marketers to easily create and manage dynamic social experiences. Entry was open to over 260 Preferred Marketing Developers (PMDs). You can read more about Project YOGA and the competition here.
