I’m an aspiring entrepreneur.
I’m one of the founders of Ampush Media. Prior to Ampush, I was an investment professional at Goldman Sachs Investment Partners. I worked with a group of extremely talented investors during one of the worst crises this century. In addition to learning a ton, I made a number of $10‐50m investments in public and private companies in the auto, industrial, real estate and new media space. I left because my heart wasn’t in being an analyzer or a finder of value, I wanted to be a doer and creator of value.
Before Goldman, I was a consultant at McKinsey & Company in New York and Dubai. I worked on a number of investment diligences in eCommerce, internet media and telecom. I also did some operations work inside of a large financial services company and marketing for a middle eastern wireless company.
Despite all the fancy companies, I always was and remain an entrepreneur at heart. Nothing gets me more excited than ideas, especially new business ideas. I love the concept of creating something from nothing and adding value to the world.
I graduated from The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School with a dual concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurship and a second degree in Political Science.
You might find me playing tennis, watching the NFL (Rams), traveling, watching good TV shows, debating policy and politics, coming up with useless business ideas (e.g., self erasing chalkboards) and talking and talking. I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri.
